PRE TREATMENT AUXILLARIES

Pre treatment chemicals a type of textile processing chemical which helps to remove impurities like dirt, waxes and starch impurities. Pre treatment chemicals also help in further processes like dyeing and finishing.

  • WETTING AGENTS

Wetting agents make solid materials more susceptible to water immersion by reducing its surface tension or interfacial tension, so that the water can be expanded on the surface of solid materials, or penetrate the surface, and the solid material wetting.

  • STAIN REMOVERS

Stain removers can remove ink stains, oil, grease, emulsion residues, textile inks from textile fabrics. Textile stain removers are non-toxic, accurate, active, fast acting, low odor agents.

  • SEQUESTERS

A sequesting or chelating agent is a complex forming auxiliary chemical with metals such as iron, copper, nickel, zinc and magnesium that are present in water and affects the textile processing in many ways.

  • PER OXIDE KILLERS

Peroxide killers can be added at the stage of the pre-bleaching stage and also peroxide bleaching processes to destroy the peroxide content. Peroxide killers save the water and energy by reducing peroxide levels in fabrics.

  • BLEACHING AGENTS

Bleaching is the second step of pretreatment of textile materials as well as wet processing technology. Bleaching agent is responsible for destruction of natural coloring matter from textile materials in order to achieve a clean white end product.

  • PEROXIDE STABILIZERS

Peroxide stabilizers can be applied to cotton, linen, polyester, yarns, towels and knitted fabrics made of cellulose and blended fabrics to bleach them.

  • NEUTRALIZERS

Neutralizers are chemicals compounds which neutralize the more acid and alkali content from fabrics. Some neutralizing agents can neutralize the acids like acetic acid content from textile products.

  • ENZYMATIC DESIZERS

Enzymes break down starch and are therefore useful for desizing woven fabrics.

  • ACID DESIZERS

Dilute Sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid may be used to hydrolyse the starch from sized fabric.
